Who We Are: Our Team

ePP was founded and is managed by a team of innovative technology, software, and publishing industry professionals. Our core staff is comprised of senior editors, project managers, and designers who work closely with a proprietary network of over 600 tech-savvy, deadline-driven, and quality-focused professionals.

Content Development and Creative Services

We have a team of editors, instructional and graphic designers in Math, Reading, Social Studies, Science, World Languages and Language Arts. This diverse team creates the new and enhanced content required for our clients' digital products. They work with our clients to design online courses and other electronic products for a variety of audiences. Our designers have expertise in the full range of electronic publishing systems and a wealth of experience adapting print materials to the specific requirements of the computer screen.

Our media specialists manage audio and video studios to create the most efficient processes for adding sound and video to our clients’ electronic learning products.

Production and Quality Assurance

Our production and quality assurance (QA) teams are experienced in using a wide variety of production tools, including Excel, Acrobat, Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign. We specialize in working with new, proprietary electronic publishing systems. We often join forces with our clients' engineering and technology departments to create cost-cutting process improvements for these systems.

We do all phases of QA, including the development of test protocols. We set up bug databases and triage, fix and regress bugs through multiple rounds of QA. A pleased client recently noted that our QA results were "great ... [with] a less than 0.01 error rate."

Project Management

Managing editorial, design, creative, and production assignments to successful completion requires deadline- and quality-focused managers. It also requires a strong set of tools for carefully tracking the many, complex pieces of a typical educational technology project, and expertise in training editorial and production staff on a variety of systems. Our managers have these skills in abundance, as well as an understanding of proven tools and processes from their extensive experience in the publishing, software, and internet industries. With each new project, our assembled skill set and knowledge base grows, and is preserved through our project documentation.

Food is a big part of our culture
Over the years we have shared many recipes with each other, and often bring a new-found delicious treat to a meeting to share with the team. For the holidays a few years ago, we started a tradition of putting together a collection of some of our favorite cold-weather recipes to share online.
